The Distribution and Warehousing Apprenticeship is made up of four key elements:

  • A National Vocational Qualification (NVQ)
  • Key Skills
  • Technical Certificate
  • Employment rights and responsibilities.

This is a work-based learning Apprenticeship in Distribution and Warehousing. Apprentices enjoy on-the-job training towards nationally recognised qualifications at Levels 2 and 3, guided by our professional assessors who provide one-to-one support throughout the programme.

Apprentices usually start training at Level 2, depending on their qualifications and ability. This is identified at an initial assessment.

Subject areas include:

  • Health and safety
  • Security
  • Receiving goods
  • Dispatching goods
  • Storing goods
  • Processing orders
  • Operating machinery
  • Customer service.

 

Who should apply?
Ambitous school/college leavers interested in persuing a distribution and warehousing related career.

Level 3 is ideal if you are working as a supervisor or manager and want to progress in a distribution and warehousing role.

Duration
Apprenticeship: 12 months
Advanced Apprenticeship: 12 - 18 months.
